Sydney Parlier is a birthworker, educator, mother of three, and college student working toward a degree in Human Development & Family Studies.

For the past several years, she has worked alongside families in the birth space as a doula, program leader, educator, and advocate.

She believes that positive experiences are built layer by layer—not through perfect plans, but through strong support, understanding, flexibility, and self-trust. Her approach combines practical birth education with conversations about the emotional, relational, and often-overlooked aspects of becoming a mother.

Known for her grounded presence and thoughtful teaching style, Sydney creates spaces that feel more like a gathering than a meeting or job. Clients can expect honest conversations, real-life examples, reflection, laughter, sometimes tears, and a welcoming environment where questions are encouraged and no one is expected to have it all figured out.

When she's not teaching or supporting families, you'll often find her adventuring with her kids, studying for classes, hanging at the local parks, tending native plants in the garden, or dreaming about future projects that bring community and support back into the parenting experience.

Sydney lives in a small town just outside of Peoria IL with her family and is passionate about helping women enter birth and motherhood feeling more steady, supported, and capable — regardless of how their journey unfolds.
